2. Use Gentle Cleaning Agents
- For general cleaning, mix a few drops of mild dish soap with lukewarm water. Dampen a soft cloth with the solution and gently wipe the surface.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals, ammonia-based cleaners, or products containing alcohol, as they can strip the finish or damage the wood.
3. Wipe Spills Immediately
- If liquid spills occur, blot the area immediately with a dry cloth. Prolonged exposure to moisture can cause staining or warping.
4. Polish Sparingly
- Use a high-quality furniture polish designed specifically for wood, but apply it sparingly to maintain the finish. Polishing every 3–6 months is usually sufficient.
5. Avoid Excessive Water
- Never soak wooden furniture or use wet cloths for cleaning. Always ensure the cloth is slightly damp, not dripping.
6. Protect the Surface
- Place coasters or mats under cups, vases, or hot dishes to prevent water rings, heat marks, or scratches.
- Keep wooden furniture away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent fading, cracking, or warping.

- Cloth: Use a lint-free microfiber cloth or a soft cotton rag.
- Cleaning Tools: Soft-bristled brushes can be used for intricate designs or carvings.
